A find and a photo

Lookee what I found sorting out tubs of crafting stuff!! This was in there... and I also found lots of charts and GAST fibers, and Six Strand Sweets fibers!! And.... my lost fabric!!! Golly -- I still have a couple more baskets to go thru!!! It's like shopping in my own house! Now, if I could only remember where I put the Halloween stuff!!

This is dated 1994, and is stitched on Aida. I didn't know about linen stitching then, and it probably came from a kit. I like it tho... and will put it with the 'finish it up' pile!

And, here is a little bit of Halloween stitching. I don't know where the rest of my stuff is! I just hate it when the mind has these freezes!! It's probably right handy, and I just don't see it! I stitched the Tabletopper last year while Chuck was in the hospital, the LK Flip-it is stored with the other monthly designs, and the needleroll is usually in the needleroll basket. I don't know why I was able to find the other picture. It was with some autumn stitching. I'm sure it will all turn up about Christmas time! LOL

Making potato soup for dinner... Because it sounds good to me!

Off to get some stitching in... I need a finish for my challenge! (I don't think starting projects counts.)

Myrna, your Halloween decor is very pretty-it's one of my favorite times of the year. What are going to do with your pretty stiching find-frame it?

I wanted to make potato soup tonight, but my youngest dd balked at the idea. Since she had a friend over, I opted for grilled burgers. :D But it's going to be soup tomorrow!

What fun finding all that great stuff! And it's already paid for. :D

Hi Myrna: Wonderful find in your 'tub of crafting' I am delighted you came across the sampler threads, etc! Isn't it like shopping without spending??

Your Halloween stitching is spooky kewl. I know exactly what you mean about knowing you have something & not being able to put your hand on it.

I have that same Flip-it ... which I bought when it first was publishe & still haven't stitched it.

Maybe it is with the Easter stuff ,,, LOL

Lovely work! I love the "Home Sweet Home" piece....I had to LOL about the aida/linen comment...I'm not sure I'd have taken it up without a push from a supervisor of mine about 10 years ago...she told me to try it...and whamo! I love it!!

What fun stash to find. I really like the Halloween ones. I'm working on the Jack and His Cats topper now, but have very little done, no way will it be done for this year's Halloween. Oh well, I'll just tell myself I'm early for next year, LOL.

Your halloween stitching and decorations are gorgeous - I've yet to have anything halloweeny in either stitching or decorations, so I might have to start planning for next year ;) I wonder if I start one on Halloween night if that'd make it feel more festive haha. Seriously, though, yours are beautiful :D
