New Pictures

Here is a little update on my Quaker Mystery. I am now thru page three, and working on four... the next pages come out today, so, if I can be almost caught up, I will be happy!

*****
And, I had mentioned I wanted to start the other mystery.... Well, I did! Papillon Creations "How Does Your Garden Grow?"

I am using a 32 ct. linen silk - antique white, with GAST fibers Dried Thyme and Tea Rose, and MH beads. I love the way this looks! I wonder what the next installment will be!

*****
And, as for knitting.... Do NOT try to knit a diamond lace pattern when you don't feel well! At least it was only a dish cloth, and not something major! Of course I did not notice until I was almost done! I did not rip it out... it's for me anyway, as I wanted to learn that pattern.

*****
I am making progress on the shawl thingee... but, I have metal needles, and they are cold!

*****
I did pick up some yarn to knit a vest. The yarn is named 'Blueberry Pie' and is a mixture of blues with some purple. Pretty.

*****
I got my exchange partners name for the Tea Time Exchange on the SBEBB. Now to find the perfect thing to stitch... I spent some time this morning looking over her blog, and have a few ideas.

*****
I am so far behind in my blog reading... I hope you will all forgive me if I just clear all and start over. It says I have something like 1000 unread posts!! I am going to mark them all read, and just start over. I know I have missed some good stuffs, but, it is just overwhelming, and I don't know where to start.

*****
Thank you all so much for reading and your comments... they are much appreciated!

Your Mystery Quaker is very pretty - I particularly like the motif in the top right-hand corner. How Does Your Garden Grow is just lovely! I love the look of the stitched flowers.

Here's a hint......use bamboo needles, I know, I know you already own the metal ones. But the bamboo will be easier on your hands..won't make them as tired.
Pretty good looking stuff!!

You've been quite busy. Your Quaker piece is looking lovely, and Garden looks like it will be very pretty as well. I've never been brave enough to try a mystery sampler, I like to know what I'm stitching before I start to work on it.

Fun knitting too. I haven't tried to knit something that looks lacey like your dishcloth yet, basic patterns are still a challenge to me. Pretty colors on all of your projects.

HI Myrna: Love the Quaker Mystery and the Papillion / How does your garden grow. Beautiful stitching. Lovely colors in both of them.

Awesome knitting. I'm quite terrible at it -- I admire anybody who can figure out those patterns : ) K1, P1, K1, P1 ... gesh, I get lost : )

Dear Myrna, Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm starting the Quaker Mystery. And just chose my threads this week in pinks and yellows..silks (Gumnuts and Waterlilies). It took me some time to figure out what I wanted to do with this piece. I love yours! Also have downloaded the Papillion mystery and just don't know when I'll get to that one, but I adore your start on it!! It looks fabulous!! Hugs, Deb

Ooooo, there is a new Quaker Mystery? I think I better go check out Martina's site... this one looks fantastic!

Hi Myrna! I love the pinks you chose for HDYGG! It's such fun to see how everyone working on this design tweak it. :)

I've gotten very far behind on blog reading too and am plugging away, but may have to clear it all out as you've done. It's really a small thing when you consider all the truly important things we do each day, stitching time being right up near the top. :D

Wow! You are on a roll. I love Quaker inspired designs and anything from Papillon Creations. These works here are lovely! I wish I lived in a climate where it was worthwhile knitting stuff. 25C winters make it a bit of a farce.

I know you are down with the "crud" but post something....
Miss you!
See you soon!

Good progress on everything Myrna! I too am WAY behind on catching up with blogposts but eventually I make my way around to everybody. :) Your knitting looks good - I was making dishcloths myself but decided it wasn't worth it for me to do anything other than the basic pattern - took me too much time and after a few washings they tend to fade out anyway. I love that Papillon Creations piece - beautiful pink!
