The word for the hunt this week is "Soft".
This is an afghan I made last fall, and it is so soft and cuddly! It was made with Lion Brand Homespun yarn, and I usually had a cat laying on it while knitting! It is just what is needed for this weekend, as we have a winter storm warning in effect. The cat in the picture is our baby, Scout. As you can see.... the felt catnip pouch has found it's way onto the afghan. Scout is another softy, and a cuddler. He is still having the effects of ultra soft fur from his escapade of jumping into the tub! (and sooo shiny too!)

Pretty afghan, I like the colors. Scout is silly. I think he brought the catnip pouch over to use as a pillow with the afghan.
Such a beautiful afghan and the kitty is certainly very soft looking! I wish I could have learned how to knit but it was just never my strong point! lol I admire people like you who can:-)

The colors are gorgeous and so is the shiny kitty... he jumps into the bath? Poor thing. He looks none the worse for his adventure. I had a Siamese once who jumped up on the lid of the toilet, only it was up and she fell in... but I think she walked on water for only her paw tips got wet.

Your afghan is lovely, very pretty color blends. Also, I totally agree, with the weather on the way, soft and warm is good. With the catnip already there, looks like your afghan is being claimed by Scout for the night. :)
