Yes, I am venturing out of the house today! I almost am feeling human. This cold has really taken it's toll on me... but, at 6:00 a.m., I took some more medicne, and had the best sleep until the phone rang at 9ish.
Becca was a sweetie this morning and made breakfast, and after she gets done 'getting ready', we will head into town to Hobby Lobby. I want to pick up the DMC colors for DT Game board, and a few other things. This also gives her some more 'drive time'. I don't know if I will be glad when she has all her time in and can get her license.
The sun is shining today, but, they are calling for lower temps and the possibility of snow again!! It's April!!!
I'm working on the third installment of the Quaker Sampler, but, a few of the colors I'm picking up at Hobby Lobby are for Cedar Hill Easter Bouquet. Maybe now that I'm not sneezing every minute (well -- not really, but, it seemed like it.), I can make some progress on my stitching.
I'll post some pictures when I have made progress on something...

Getting out of the house can sometimes be great medicine! Somehow the fresh air will at least temporarily clear out my sinuses. :D Hope you had some fun with Becca.
Hope you had a fun day. it's finally starting to warm up in MN - maybe some of this warmer weather will be headed your way....
Myrna! I wasn't sure it was you with the AMAP sampler as I didn't do a research before posting, but it was YOU who temped me so much when I saw your work on it! So there we are... Well, I wish we could do a sal with it, but I'm well behind you on this one! Hell! That would have been my first one! Anyway, just to let you know that you inspired me on this project!
Take care!
Eeeech, horrid when you have a bad cold, isn't it? Glad you're coming through it OK.=)
Love your cats!
Come over and see my blog sometime too.
Elisabeth, UK=)
Myrna, I LOVE the things you made at camp, and I really like the color change of the letters on that fabric. It actually looks great up close, but the backstitch might look better from a distance. The needleroll is gorgeous!
Hope all vestiges of that nasty cold leaves you well soon.
Hey GF! Good to hear you are improving. Nice to have Becca drive you around town, esp. Hobby Lobby. I still don't have my pattern. I'm sending an e-mail to the LNS tomorrow (if it isn't in my P.O.Box) I am impatiently waiting.
No, my throat is not improved -- still achey. My voice is 'soft' I can make sounds! My guess is this is the last part of the 'bug' & soon, I'll be 100%.
Went out today (couldn't stand it inside another second) for awhile. Was nice to get some air. Visited the post office, Michael's & Barnes+Noble. Bookstore.
Sorry to hear you've been unwell, Myrna - hope you're over those dratted bugs by now! :D Sorry for the late post, I'm soooo behind in blog reading for a change - I really need to get back into my old routine so I can keep on top of things! :/
